February 2017 // 36 Pallets of milk Donated /h3>

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais donated 36 pallets of milk to the Moisson Outaouais food bank through the Association des producteurs de lait du Québec’s temporary skim milk donation program. Moisson Outaouais will proudly ship most of this milk to Montreal so that it can be shared with some of the other Moissons in the province, through the provincial Les Banques alimentaires du Québec network.

January 2017 // Multiple Sclerosis Outaouais

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais is very proud to officially partner with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Outaouais section, until 2018. This two-year partnership will allow both organizations to maximize exposure and raise as much awareness as possible about this cause.

November 2016 // « My Milk at Work » Contest

With its « My Milk at Work » contest, the Laiterie de l’Outaouais made 52 lucky winners! Over the next year, the team will visit one business per week. The list of winners was posted on the dairy’s Facebook page on November 21, 2016..

February 2016 // Developing the Montréal Market

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais now offers its chocolate milk in three Costco stores in Brossard, Boucherville and Terrebonne. The initial sales figures are encouraging, but Montréal consumers will have to be targeted to ensure the growth of this new distribution network.

June 2015 // A New Website

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais thanks the team of Studio créatif COLOC for their work on developing its new website, as well as the Université du Québec en Outaouais’ Infographics students for the visual design of the website.

June 2015 // 25th Outaouais Gala Loisir sport

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais is thrilled to have presented the National Female Athlete of the Year award to Ariane Bonhomme (cycling). CONGRATULATIONS ARIANE and our compliments to the organizers of the 25th Outaouais Gala Loisir sport!

May 2015 // Outaouais Work-Life Balance Recognition Award

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais is proud to have won the Prix reconnaissance conciliation travail-famille de l’Outaouais (Outaouais Work-Life Balance Recognition Award ) given by the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ). After assessing staff needs in terms of work-life balance, the Laiterie de l’Outaouais implemented a process through which workers can take personal time off without loss of pay for up to 40 hours a year. With this, staff stress and loss of revenue went down, and business productivity went up. Thank you to the RJCCQ.

February 2015 // The Laiterie de l’Outaouais Shines in New York thanks to PXL Media

PXL Media, a Gatineau business that has been undergoing tremendous growth and who produced the Laiterie de l’Outaouais’ corporate video, won Gold in the Corporate Identity category at the Mercury Excellence Awards in New York. The company also won awards in two other categories. CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU! 

February 2015 // Radio-Canada LeDroit Personality Award

The CEO of the Laiterie de l’Outaouais, Mr. Georges Émond, was named business personality of the year at the  Gala de la personnalité de l’année Radio-Canada Le Droit. On behalf of the Shareholders’ Cooperative and the Workers’ Cooperative, we wish to congratulate him and warmly thank him for his excellent work.

January 2015 // Ruisseau de la Brasserie Skating Rink

During the first year of operation of the Ruisseau de la Brasserie skating rink, the Laiterie de l’Outaouais got involved by offering hot chocolate and turning over 100% of sales to 10 non-profits in Old Hull.

Septembre 2014 // Bouffe Resto et cie

MAtv est fier de rediffuser la série télévisée Bouffe Resto et cie qui est animée par notre ambassadeur, le Chef Thierry Deletrez. Les émissions seront diffusées à compter du 29 septembre 2014 sur le canal Vidéotron. On peut retrouver l’heure et la date de diffusion ainsi que le contenu des émissions de Bouffe Resto et cie sur le site matv.ca/outaouais.

July 2014 // Jeux de la francophonie canadienne

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais was a partner of the 2014 Jeux de la francophonie canadienne 2014. In the Games’ village, many people discovered our dairy products and enjoyed excellent berry smoothies. An excellent source of calcium, protein and energy!

June 2014 // 5 à 7 at the RGA Basse-Lièvre

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais is proud to have welcomed some 50 members of the Regroupement des gens d’affaires de la Basse-Lièvre. Chef Thierry Deletrez cooked an amazing BBQ meal under a tent, in a relaxed atmosphere. Our guests also visited our facilities, from the production line, to processing, to bottling dairy products.

June 2014 // Laiterie de l’Outaouais, at the Heart of an Academic Project

The Laiterie de l’Outaouais is often the subject of student projects. Last month, Jean-Louis Robitaille, a master’s student in change management, wrote us a lovely letter informing us that the Laiterie was picked as the project subject in his program, having met every criterion for transformational and transactional leadership. According to the leadership definitions of guru Kurt Lewin, the skills of Mr. Georges Émond , dairy CEO, match Lewin’s characteristics in terms of interpersonal relationships, management and ability to delegate numerous operational jobs at the dairy.

May 2014 // Mr. Georges Émond, ICI Radio-Canada LeDroit Personality of the Week

Another success to share! Congratulations to Mr. Georges Émond, CEO of Laiterie de l’Outaouais, for being an ICI Radio-Canada LeDroit Personality of the week. The Laiterie de l’Outaouais won, last week, a prestigious Small Business Award from the National Bank, taking home the gold in the $5-10 million annual revenue category. Quite the achievement for a local cooperative! To highlight this, LeDroit and Radio-Canada made CEO Georges Émond Personality of the week. Congratulations!

April 2014 // Resounding Success for TUOI’s Walk for Autism

Congratulations to Trait D’Union Outaouais Inc. for its campaign that raised more than $70,000 for summer camps for children with autism in the Outaouais. We are proud to have participated in your event for a second year in a row.

The Cégep de l’Outaouais has recognized Laiterie de l’Outaouais CEO, Mr. Georges Émond. His presentation to students, dealing with entrepreneurship, had a positive impact on several of them and contributed greatly to the group’s learning experience.
